It’s HKT’s 4th anniversary, and to celebrate here’s MG0 aka HKT’s version of Majisuka! Watch as these Hakata girls take on Kishidan in their hometown of Kisarazu. There’s plenty of fighting, girls talking in the Hakata dialect, and even a kiss scene?

My friend over at twitter, Babananot, was a huge help in rewriting some of the dialogue to better fit the scene. Thanks!

    Thanks; this is what I was hoping the last few series of Majisuka would have been like; stupid, overblown, and actually fun to watch. All the girls were totally into it and as ever they out in a great performance and have kind of redeemed the whole thing for me. And Kishidan were pleasingly ridiculous villains. Thanks a lot for subbing, it was a great watch.

    PS I think this is Haruppi’s best hairstyle ever

      Yeah, I’m glad they went for something silly and a bit campy, as MG5 was too dark and depressing for me. It felt like HKT, and I love the little inside jokes with the nicknames and all. And I loved seeing the relationship between Sakura and Haruppi.

      Yankee Haruppi is so great *_*

      Do you have anything in mind? I try not to sub videos that are exclusively about my oshi since that’s not fair to non-Aoi oshis, but if there’s a particular Aoi-heavy episode of Goboten or Odekake you wanna see, I can try to do it.

    Thanks Blue 🙂 I guess I don’t need to finish the last MG before I watch this for it to make sense? Because MG rarely cares about making sense. Though I might save it anyway, I admit I kinda like letting subs pile up so I always have something to watch later lol.

    On another note, you mentioned before that there was an HKT subbing group in the works. Do you know if that came together yet or plan to? I haven’t seen it.

      Lol, I gave up on MG4 and 5, too. Only slightly knew what was going on because of twitter, but I was able to follow MG0 pretty easily. 

      Yeah, I guess it’s still up in the air. Problem is, I don’t know any other HKT fan who knows Japanese well enough to provide reliable translations for video clips. I’m sure there are plenty of great timers, QCs, typesetters, etc. but without at least another translator I feel like it’d be hard to pull off. ><
